Carthamus tinctorius
The safflower oil is extracted in the process of cold-pressing of safflower seeds. It is a priceless source of essential fatty acids - linoleic acid (essential omega 6 fatty acid). Moreover, it has high content of vitamin E and is a valuable source of phytosterols. This makes the oil highly moisturizing and soothing and is a great addition to therapeutic and beauty formulas for skin that has lost its natural hydration and oils. The proportions of the essential fatty acids in the safflower oil are a good match for the oil content of human skin, meaning it is easily absorbed and deeply nourishing. The linoleic and oleic essential fatty acids leave a smooth feel on the skin.

We hereby confirm that in accordance with EC Regulation 1829/2003 and 1830/2003 all products manufactured at our production sites do not contain genetically modified organism (GMO) and will not require any labelling or traceability.
Cosmetic Declaration
We certify that Safflower Oil is suitable for cosmetic application and is not included in the list of substances prohibited in cosmetic products. Neither does it contain parabens, restricted preservatives, colorants or UV filters (Annex II - VI of EU Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009).
California Proposition 65 Declaration
We herby state that products; Safflower Oil does not contain chemicals that are listed on California's Safe Drinking Water & Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, also commonly known as Proposition 65 (Prop 65). Neither does it contain parabens, restricted preservatives, colorants or UV filters (Annex II - VI of EU Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009).

We herby state that products; Safflower Oil are Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathy (TSE) and Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE) free.

Animal Testing Decleration
All products manufactured by Biolea Naturals (TR Oils Inc.) whether in house brands or for third party contract manufacturer have never been tested on animals. Biolea Naturals has never conducted animal testing and has never commissioned any outside organisation to do it on our behalf.
